Assessment of fish at IMR
This site is created for two purposes: to increase transparency in the technical basis of management of fish and
to serve as a common laboratory for scientists involved in the management of fish species that are of importance
to Norway. We believe that the quality of the management in the long run will increase if stakeholders
are familiar with the scientific challenges and the scientists' approach to improving the management.
This web site is by no means an "official" web site of IMR, rather an attempt among collaborating scientists to
create a common platform for the work connected to management, on an experimental basis. All comments and suggestions
are welcome and could be mailed to sigurd@imr.no
For the time being, only capelin in the Barents Sea is dealt with.
