Ommitting Sa values
Ordinarily, the data from a trawl-acoustic survey are treated as e.g. mining data, a data point in one location gives information about the fish in that location. However, the winter survey 2008 provides an interesting example where this reasoning does not suffice. First, one vessel traversed the western area on capelin Sa value of zero or close to zero. Much later a vessel traversed the same area on hig Sa values, clearly showing movement of capelin into the western area. This part of the migration was not evident in the eastern area surveyed earlier, and must have come in from the north. Averaging all Sa values ijn the western area would then be a mistake. Therefore, Recap is provided with a mechanism to ommit Sa values. The list integratorValuesToExclude holds the area code and the first and last days of Sa values to exclude, calculated form the beginning of the survey. The map of squares with detailed information about mean Sa and first and last day of Sa values in the square is helpful in constructiong integratorValuesToExclude.
